These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Moon-Journal app ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The app

Moon-Journal provides moon-phase tracking, astronomical information (moonrise and moonset, seasons, meteor showers, eclipses), zodiac information, and a personal journaling and mood-tracking feature. Your journal entries are stored on your device.

Informational and entertainment use only

The astrological, zodiac, and lunar content in Moon-Journal is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. The mood and emotion journaling features are not a medical device or a mental-health service and are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or other advice. If you are in crisis or need help, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

Subscriptions, free trials, and billing

Moon-Journal offers optional auto-renewing premium subscriptions (monthly and annual), which may include a free trial.

• Payment is charged to your Apple App Store account upon confirmation of purchase.
• A subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.
• Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, including by attempting to reverse engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the app or its backend services, or to use the app in violation of any applicable law.

Your content

You retain ownership of the journal entries you create. Because entries are stored locally on your device, you are responsible for them, including any backups. We do not access your journal content.

Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Astronomical times and predictions are approximate and may vary; we do not warrant that the content is accurate, error-free, or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the app or its services if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
